Steve Adair
Steve is a certified government financial manager (CGFM) with over 19 years of experience with the public sector, which includes 13 years of experience in public sector leadership roles, and 6 in public accounting, where he performed audits of public sector clients. He most recently served as the Deputy Finance Director of Macomb County, Michigan for nine years and was the Finance Director and Treasurer of the City of Center Line, Michigan before that. Steve specializes in project management, specifically for annual audits and budgets, where he utilizes strong technical and communication skills to develop a plan and execute it. Beyond audits and budgets, he also has a wealth of experience in grant reporting, financial forecasting, and pension administration.

Steve has been a featured speaker for the Government Finance Officers Association and has also represented the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association during hearings held by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board on upcoming accounting standard changes.
Steve has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Hope College.
