Mary Ann Kornexl is a CPA with over 30 years of experience working for municipal government.   Her background includes accounting, auditing, budgeting, payroll, cash management, property tax, and pension administration.   

 She has worked in various roles at the City of Mt Pleasant including the Finance Director and City Treasurer.  She also worked as Audit Manager for a local CPA firm auditing municipalities and school districts in the state.   

Mary Ann is a lifetime member of Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.  She served on the board of directors of Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association and served as its President.    

Mary Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Central Michigan University.
